Shower had dried soap on the curtain from previous person. Rust stains and mildew on tub. No lamps between the beds, holes are there for them. Door handle barely worked to get into the room. Smell of their own food was rough. Seems as if the people working there, live there.

Better watch it here! We tried two rooms both had signs of bed bugs! I’ll also add in a diamond member with choice! Only thing they did was put a diamond member out the door for the night! Better go elsewhere! Will be contacting the Health Department tomorrow and the better business bureau! Choice has opened up a case too! I was on the phone with a choice representative as the front desk lady was telling me to leave the property! Choice rep said I was treated poorly and unfairly as a diamond member with choice!

After many begs and pleas on my part asking for the hotels insurance information so I can file a claim all they did was call the law on me! But that’s fine I called some numbers also! NOTE I WILL GET THE INSURANCE INFORMATION JACK PATEL ONE WAY OR ANOTHER! You seem to choose the other way! I tried to be nice and ask nicely but that didn’t work! We will be in touch before long!

10/6/2024 I’m back actually y’all give me the same room this stay as ya did last time a couple weeks ago! Still the same bed bug stained mattress! I done took pics and forwarded them on to Mr Davis and the tazwell county health department via email! Room 301

I took a job cooking at this place a couple years ago. I have watched these reviews since then. Every time someone posts a bad interview the owner comments with lies of how everything is repaired or in good condition. Wrong. There are roaches and bugs all over the building. The kitchen is filthy, the cooler has bugs in it. Everything in there has a sticky film on it. They follow no culinary guidelines, nor do they know how. I do not know how they even obtained a food license. I tried to help them, but they do not care. I can't imagine how gross the rooms must be. If people knew how filthy these people were, they would not stay here. The health department needs to do something about this place. What kind of health inspectors are they sending here? It is completely unhealthy to spend the night in such filth.

reserved and paid for a non-smoking king suite and ended up with a double queen room that had been heavily smoked in and the smell was nauseating. front desk offered only that the hotel was full and they could offer a fabric refresher which was nothing other than a spray bottle that was of no help. was forced to go shopping and deal with the disgusting smell on my own

The room smelled like pot and the bathroom was disgusting with body hair on the shower and floor. There was mold in the tub and the drain was clogged. The toilet looked as though it hasn't been scrubbed for weeks.

Good for a quick night stay. Would not stay longer. Bathroom floors dirty. Shower moldy. Sheets stained. Looked like a cheaply done no stay motel flip.

Good value for the price.
Much better than reviews from fall of 2023.
Acceptable, especially for the low price of a room. This hotel clearly has seen better days, but the current management is trying to do better than the previous.
The room was clean enough, but not perfect. The bed was clean and comfortable. The amenities were acceptable but not fancy.
Breakfast was ok. Coffee on the 2nd morning was much better than the first, perhaps because the desk clerk heard me comment on how weak the coffee was.
I have paid twice as much to stay in hotels I would never go back to, while I would return here if ever in the area again.

We always come here every 6 because my husband is a truck driver so he get his oil change on his truck. So we stay at the comfort inn and always dirty in the room and housekeeping wakes you up early and walks right in. My husband is a platinum member and for being one this room should be at the best. I don't know why Corporate come and Investigate this hotel. I hope the do something about it. Rating it a zero. Please don't stay at this hotel until you see changes. The restroom rating 0 cleaning 0 all around zero.
